In Ethiopia, the importance and inclusion of gender issues during budgeting and planning in order to respond to gender equality as well as ensuring equal benefit of all citizens accessing services of the government, has led to steps taken in order to facilitate coordination between federal, regional concerned offices and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Cooperation (MoFEC).
