The United Nations entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) commissioned this assessment on “the Availability, Accessibility, Quality and Demand for Rehabilitative and Reintegration Services for Women and Girl- Survivors of Violence in Ethiopia”. The assessment will add to the evidence-base for planning and development of appropriate interventions by state actors and other development partners, by identifying and mapping the existing rehabilitative and reintegration service centers; and compiling an inventory of their services, gaps and current barriers. The Cameroon Minister of Women’s empower-ment and the family Marié Theres Abena On-doua has called on the family, educational, religious and private institutions in Cameroon to double efforts in the crusade to end violence against women and girls. She also called on men and boys to join the bandwagon to fight against gender based violence. The campaign starts on November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to December 10th, International Human Rights Day. The global theme for 2015 is “From Peace in the Home to Peace in the World: Make Education Safe for All!” this was adopted by Malawi. More
