Les Institutions de Formation et d’Education Féminine (IFEF) sont des structures para- scolaires ou des offres alternatives d’éducation initiées pour assurer à la population féminine analphabètes ou déscolarisée une formation et un encadrement spécifique susceptible de faire d’elle de véritables agents de développement. Elles sont gérées par le Ministère de la Promotion de la Femme de la Famille et de la Protection de l’enfant (MPFFPE) et ont pour objectif principal la formation et l’éducation la population féminine afin d’assurer son intégration et sa pleine participation au développement économique et social du pays. Dans le cadre du projet « Anticiper et prévenir la vulnérabilité des femmes et des jeunes filles face à l’instabilité et à la violence » initié par ONU Femmes Côte d’Ivoire et financé par le gouvernement du Japon, un accompagnement des auditrices des IFEF est en cours. Rwanda hosted from 17 to 19 August 2015 an all Africa security organs Command Post exercise (CPX) themed: “African Security Organs’ Synergy to End Violence against Women and Girls”.
