Story Book - Disrupting the Status Quo

This Story Book tells the story of girls from all over the African continent about their interest in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) as a career path. This publication is part of African Girls Can Code Initiative (AGCCI) 2nd Webinar on the theme of “Disrupting the Status Quo: Innovations during COVID-19 by African Girls Who Code”, held on 18 October 2020.

AGCCI is a four-year project that will bring together Girls from all over the African continent across different languages to spark their interest in ICT as a career path and to empower them as young promising innovative women on the Continent. Launched by the African Union Commission (AUC), UN Women and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) , the project has benefited from the generous financial support from the government of Denmark.
