This report is structured to describe Kenya’s economic and social development context, including the status of women. It then presents a descriptive and a statistical analysis of the data from the KCHP 2019. The statistical analysis looks at the determinants of NEET by developing a logistical regression model that estimates the probability of being NEET. The last section of the report reflects on the findings of the determinants of NEET in the light of country policy on gender equity and youth development as well as international literature on youth employment.
