UN Women Uganda 1st Quarter Newsletter 2025
In the first quarter of 2025, UN Women Uganda renewed its momentum through strategic partnerships and impactful initiatives focused on promoting gender equality. Key efforts included advancing women’s leadership, supporting economic empowerment, and addressing gender-based violence through advocacy, policy engagement, and community action.
A major highlight was the nationwide celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, reinforcing the call to break barriers and accelerate progress for women and girls.
