UN Women Ethiopia Newsletter April - June 2025

Dear Colleagues, partners, and supporters of UN Women in Ethiopia, 
We bring you the second quarter newsletter of 2025! 
It was yet another busy quarter for the country office with lots of activities. We would like to highlight a few. 
In partnership with the Ministry of Finance, we hosted a high-level policy dialogue and research knowledge dissemination workshop to unveil the findings of the new report: Gender Equity and Taxation in Ethiopia. The report seeks to examine Ethiopia’s tax system from a gender perspective was discussed amongst participants. This is part of our work aiming to inform reforms, strengthen partnerships, and promote inclusive economic development, ensuring taxation policies work fairly for women in Ethiopia.
