Developments and Achievements in the Uptake and Use of Gender Data — The Case of Rwanda

This product is related to Women Count's "Learn From…" series and part of a regional report, which aims to showcase developments, achievements and lessons in gender data and statistics in East and Southern Africa as part of experience-sharing and particularly south-south learning towards promoting the communication, uptake and use of gender data and statistics for policy- and decision-making to improve the lives of women and girls.

The "Learn From…" series includes similar briefs following field documentation and qualitative research in Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Kenya.

Rwanda has demonstrated thought leadership in the use of gender data in its efforts to meet national priorities and track and report on regional as well as international targets including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
