The inaugural edition of UN Women West and Central Africa’s Quarterly Newsletter explores how evidence, partnerships and collective action are helping advance gender equality across the region.
From strengthening gender-responsive responses to the Ebola outbreak and launching 10 Care Snapshots to inform policy and investment decisions, to promoting safer digital spaces and supporting women’s leadership in agriculture, mediation and peacebuilding, the edition showcases the diverse ways change is taking shape across West and Central Africa.
It also captures the momentum generated through the post-CSW70 Friendsraising Series, bringing together governments, civil society, development partners and communities around a shared goal: turning commitments into lasting results for women and girls.
