Gender-Responsive Procurement Brief
The United Arab Emirates (UAE)–UN Women Strategic Partnership Framework (2024–2027) is a three and a half year initiative supported by the United Arab Emirates, focused on advancing women’s economic empowerment. Its overall impact area is ensuring that women through Gender-Responsive Procurement (GRP) and market access achieve income security, decent work, and economic autonomy, with the expected outcome of more women being economically empowered through stronger government, United Nations agencies and private sector commitment to gender-responsive procurement.
