The panel comprising of youth caucus members Dr. Nothabo Ncube stated that enhancing women’s leadership facilitates increased women’s representation.

“Women’s leadership should enable young women to show up in their perfections and imperfections and I would like for women to fully stand in their truth and allow the good in them to shine through.” , stated Dr. Nothabo

Another panellist Mantate highlighted that a sustainable environment is possible when leaders realize the power of their influence in increasing opportunities for others.

Leadership should be in a place of a sustainable environment where a leaders uses influence and creates an environment that allows others to see themselves fitting in”, said Mantate.

The ongoing series aims to bridge a communication gap between young women and women in leadership positions. As one of its fundamental objectives, the series will provide young women across the country with mentorship and support from women in leadership positions to reach their full potentials.
