Call for Proposals for a Responsible Partner (RP) to foster Social Cohesion and Integration between Migrant and Host Community Women in South Africa.

Submission deadline: 19 May 2025

Promoting social cohesion between migrant and host community women is essential to advancing equality, combating discrimination and building inclusive communities that benefit from the positive contributions of migrant women workers. UN Women’s Making Migration Safe for Women programme in South Africa will engage a national responsible party to implement activities that foster social cohesion and integration. These activities will include facilitating community dialogues on the benefits of social cohesion and the positive socio-economic contributions of migrant women; conducting an online public opinion survey to assess perceptions of migrant women; and developing and implementing a campaign to challenge negative perceptions, raise awareness and promote joint community efforts to prevent discrimination against migrant women.
