Call for Proposals: Supporting Women’s Peacebuilding Efforts in Western Equatoria (WES) and Western Bahr el Ghazal States (WBG)

UN Women South Sudan invites qualified civil society organizations, women-led groups, NGOs, and community-based organizations to implement targeted initiatives that advance women’s leadership and meaningful participation in peacebuilding and governance, with a geographic focus on Western Equatoria and Western Bahr el Ghazal. The initiative aims to reinforce inclusive and gender-responsive peace structures, strengthen conflict prevention and early warning mechanisms, enhance social cohesion, and expand women’s economic empowerment opportunities. It directly contributes to the advancement of the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda, supporting sustainable peace, resilience, and inclusive governance outcomes.
