National Consultative Conference Report - Unpaid Care Work in South Africa
The national consultative Conference was held under the theme, “Collective Action to Recognise, Reduce and Redistribute unpaid work in South Africa - the 3R Framework.” The purpose of the workshop was to engage key and relevant stakeholders to establish a common and shared understanding of unpaid care work both as a socio-economic and technical barrier for advancing gender equality and women empowerment (GEWE), and to explore transformative strategies and approaches for addressing drivers of unpaid care work in South Africa.
