Regional disaggregated data mining and analysis report
The study reviews and analyses national and regional-level statistics on gender differences and inequalities in Ethiopia across a number of key areas: demographics and population; economy and employment, agriculture, education, health and nutrition, power and decision-making. The analysis is based on data obtained from different census and sectoral surveys conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (CSA), and databases/publications of the concerned ministries. The findings of this study fill important gender data gaps and contributes important insights about the circumstances of women and men in Ethiopia and areas of priority for planning, resource allocation and policy and strategy with regards to gender programming in Ethiopia.
