POLICY BRIEF: COVID-19 and Ending Violence Against Women and Girls in Ethiopia
The brief highlights emerging evidence of COVID-19 impact on violence against women and girls (VAWG) in Ethiopia. It provides recommendations to be considered by all sectors of society, from governments to international organizations and to civil society organizations, in order to prevent and respond to VAWG in Ethiopia. It also highlights UN Women Ethiopia interventions in the country to respond to COVID-19.
It is a living document that complements other briefs prepared by UN Women headquarter on COVID-19 and gender and ending violence against women.
