UN Women Ethiopia: Changing the lives of women and girls

The publication presents UN Women Ethiopia’s key achievements in Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment (GEWE) in the country and at regional level of the year 2019.  It explains the office’s triple mandate - Normative, Coordination and Operational. It presents the works done by the office in collaboration with partners to achieve meaningful changes in GEWE by presenting successful initiatives under each programmatic area. The publication includes impact stories to exemplify the positive effects of the office work at different levels. It also highlights UN Women's Executive Director's first official visit to Ethiopia country office.
