Women in climate resilient agriculture in West and Central Africa: Key results of UN Women’s flagship programme
This publication shows preliminary results and promising practices to support women’s economic empowerment and strengthen resilience in rural areas by promoting women’s access to land, finance, skills and technology for climate resilience and markets. It is based on a desk review of project reports and interviews with beneficiaries, implementing partners, and programme officers of UN Women’s programme, Women’s Empowerment through Climate-Resilient Agriculture in West and Central Africa, for the period 2017 to 2021.
