Uganda Plan for National Statistical Development (FY2020/21 - FY2024/2025) (PNSD III): Agenda for Innovation, Modernisation and Transformation of the National Statistical System
The Third Plan for National Statistical Development (PNSD III) is the national framework for guiding statistical production and development in Uganda for FY2020/21 to FY2024/25 in keeping with the Third National Development Plan (NDP III), regional, and global agendas. The PNSD III is relevant for the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) as well as other data producers in government ministries, departments, and agencies as well as local governments, private sector, and civil society organizations (CSOs). In recognition of risks from the COVID-19 pandemic, the PNSD III is also expected to help position Uganda’s national statistical system (NSS) to produce and disseminate statistical data and information for evidence-based policy and decision-making to address potential epidemics and externalities.
