Women and Climate Smart Agriculture: A programming guide for Eastern and Southern Africa
In the face of climate change, addressing food insecurity and malnutrition is a major challenge that calls for an increase in agricultural production. UN Women aims to ensure that gender is fully integrated into agricultural productivity, adaptation, and reduction and/or removal of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The programming guide is a document for stakeholders within the agriculture sector to learn about gender responsive approaches in Climate Smart Agriculture.
