Gender Analysis of the Impact of Conflict in Greater Pibor, South Sudan

This analysis aimed to assess the impact of the conflict in the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA), including key protection risks and needs, and to identify triggers of the conflict. It also aimed to find opportunities for mitigating conflicts and to initiate programs for strengthening access to protection services. Moreover, it sought to establish mechanisms for promoting peaceful coexistence among communities and ethnic groups in the GPAA and its adjacent areas. The analysis was intended to guide the efforts of humanitarian, peace, and development organizations in addressing diverse needs.
