The Women Economic Empowerment Through Climate Smart Agriculture (WEE-CSA) Storybook presents enviable successes of over 2,400 women from Kitui, Laikipia, and West Pokot counties with arid and semi-arid regions who have transformed their lives through innovative agricultural practices.

Funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency, the UN Women Kenya Country Office initiative has equally affected communities countrywide.

The documentation features vibrant imagery and compelling narratives that serve to underscore how WEE-CSA has not only improved livelihoods but also fostered gender equality through participatory access to resources and decision-making that empowers women and youth.

The collection also shares in the invaluable experiences realized during the first phase of the project, testifying to the determination of women who have adopted the climate-smart techniques in order to improve their incomes and reduce household conflicts.
