Gender Statistics Report 2017

Reliable gender statistics highlights different conditions for women and men, girls and boys.  It is a fundamental tool for evidence-based decision making, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.  Women and men have different needs, access and control over resources in society.  National statistics that does not reflect these differences is insufficient and potentially misleading. The key objective of the initiative behind this report is the development of comprehensive gender statistics through organizing, compiling, reviewing, processing and analyzing available data.
