UN Women Nigeria Biannual Newsletter- July-December 2021
In 2021, despite the challenges and restrictions imposed by the COVIDE-19 pandemic, the UN Women Nigeria Country Office continued to implement programmatic, coordination and normative interventions as a contribution to efforts by the Government of Nigeria to close the gen-der inequality gap and advance the rights of women and girls. UN Women worked to strengthen women’s increased and substantive representation in political, economic and social life, including in the humanitarian, peacebuilding and development contexts.
