UN Women works on various levels to strengthen women’s economic empowerment. By supporting governments, regional bodies and civil society to develop and implement laws, policies, programmes and services needed to ensure that the standards are effectively implemented and truly benefit women and girls. To make the vision of the Sustainable Development Goals a reality for women and girls and stand behind women’s equal participation in all aspects of life.
